Not sure what happened but 1 day I found my target_="blank" links quit opening in a new tab & in the current tab instead. Not what I wanted so I hunted for a solution & this works.
1st, you need to give your <a> tag link a class name such as
Then add this between your head tags & note, the $('a.goto') is my chosen class name. The goto can be changed to whatever you want to use placed in your body's link
