Using my method of creating rechanneled stereo doesn't give much right left articulation but instead transforms the aura of a fixed point to an illusion of surround sound & the best tool I've found to do my reworks is the Nero editor using the stereo processor tool. There are other tools I've heard of that can give mono a more true stereo sound but of the few I've heard so far, some do have more distinct separation but sacrifice the tonal quality or are distorted too badly to qualify as noteworthy. Except for a rare few, I've yet to hear any copies better than what I'm creating at present.
I've got more rechanneled stereo trax in my collection than what's up here members can hear on demand from my private player. These here are mostly the 1's I made that turned out respectably good.
If you're good at doing that sorta thing & have some up on youtube or similar, post your best reworks or if you have audio only on a server somewhere that can be played on demand, you can post this code with your musics URL,
Which will be displayed as you see above but as you can see from the code, you'll need both an ogg & m4a files to have compatibility on most browsers. Mp3's, flacs & wav's can be used also but many browsers won't play them. If the link of your music file goes dead, it'll slow down loading of the page trying to find a dead url & will have to be deleted if I notice it.
Any posts other than my own will get added to list below as I find them & will be highlighted with a different colored song title to acknowledge another members post & if there's several frequent contributors I'll likely give a unique color code for each member to identify their posts.
A few of these did get released in stereo but most of those versions are rare & most have audio mixing & or production quality with an aura not quite as captivating as the mono versions & my ears say the fake stereo versions I'm making are closer to the original in that respect.
My way of creating these with the nero stereo processor is to offset the channels slightly looking for a sweet spot then sometimes adding a little reverb or ambiance but the offset plays havoc with the tone balance so that has to be rebalanced at the end of the process. I end up tinkering with several experimental copies & pick the 1 with the best sound but using my current method, I've found, not all mono copies can made into respectable sounding fake stereo so you're only seeing my best results here.
You can also hear some of my other rch stereo reworks not posted here, on my Youtube channel mono to stereo playlist & auto played too @ link
