I don't know what the problem is with consumer based streaming software but everything I've tried is cumbersome or difficult to set up or a 3rd party is required to host it that charges for the service & most of it sucks for any number of reasons.

I found this jewel some time ago & it's some pretty old software but man does it get the job done in style & set up is a breeze. Kudo's to the genius creator!

It was created during the XP generation so can't say if this will work on newer O/S's & I don't know if you can still find a copy anywhere but I could send a copy of my customized version if needed.

Anyways, it's the best thing I've come across to get into your music library remotely & share with your friends too if you like & if you're a member here you can give it a spin to see just what it can do. Below is a pic view of my customized version.

Manage your backup music files flawlessly with Folder Match

I spent many years acquiring my prize music library that would be devastating to lose to a hard drive blowout so I have several back-ups in reserve.

I'm constantly upgrading my favorite tunes with better copies so I needed a program that could not only add anything new from my master library to my back-ups but also compare copies against each other to determine if I have the latest updated copy in my back-ups.

Folder Match handles the job magnificently & fly's thru comparing a huge library faster than anything else out there. Unfortunately it isn't free but If you ever tried to manually keep track of your libraries, it's a major chore so this program is worth every penny in the saved time & aggravation.
